Story: Unicorn Glitterluck and the Garden of Dreams
It is already late and the moon shines through the branches of the large cherry tree in the cloud garden. Everywhere it is dark, but in the cloud castle one window is still brightly lit. Here lives the little rabbit Finni with the magic wings. He sits in bed and tugs at his long ears. "I'm not sleepy at all, I'll stay awake!", he mumbles to himself the whole time. Then he yawns. Shortly after, his eyes close and he has already fallen asleep.
But in the middle of the night Finni wakes up with a start and begins to cry. He had a bad dream! Soon the door opens and Wonderflower stands in his room. "What's the matter?", she asks the little rabbit. "Such a stupid dream!", Finni sniffles and rubs the tears from his eyes. Wonderflower sits down next to his bed and blows soothingly on his cheeks. "That will be all right", she tries to comfort the rabbit. "No, not at all!", Finni whimpers loudly to himself.
Glitterjoy, Stardust and Magicwhirl poke their heads through the door.
"What's going on here?", asks Stardust, yawning.
"Finni had a bad dream", explains Wonderflower.
"Yesterday too. And the day before that too! I've been dreaming nothing but strange things all week now", Finni cries. The unicorns enter the room.
"Oh dear!", says Stardust and sits down on the other side of Finni's bed.
"Come on, lie down again, I'll sing you a nice song."
"And I'll conjure soothing, shimmering stars on the ceiling with my horn", says Magicwhirl and already her horn begins to shimmer softly.
"I'll be right back with a hot-water bottle. That always helps", says Wonderflower and trots to the door.
But where is Glitzerglück? The four friends look around in search and are puzzled. Glitzerglück is nowhere to be seen. Wunderblume shakes her head. She has surely had one of her great ideas again! And sure enough: when Sternenstaub sings the fifth lullaby, Glitzerglück comes into the room with a small pouch on his back. Finni has nestled into his pillow and cuddles with the hot-water bottle.
"Where have you been?", asks Zauberwirbel. Her horn shimmers in soft turquoise tones and provides a lovely light in the room.
"I quickly galloped to the end of the great rainbow," panted Glitzerglück. "That's where the Garden of Dreams is, and there I caught a few particularly beautiful dream soap bubbles for Finni."
"Great!" exclaims Wunderblume. "That's really a good idea. For from the flowers in the Dream Garden come many soap bubbles with beautiful dreams, which then drift to everyone who is asleep."
Sternenstaub also nods: "Yes, and because Finni's window is tightly closed, the dream soap bubbles couldn't fly to him."
She stands up, goes to the window and opens it a crack. Glitzerglück carefully places the small pouch on Finni's blanket and unties the bow. "There, Finni, everything will be fine now. Look, the first dream soap bubbles are already rising out of the pouch. So you can fall asleep completely peacefully." The little rabbit sighs and closes his eyes. "You really are the best friends one could wish for!" he murmurs. With a happy smile on his face he falls asleep.
