Picture dance: A CD with children's songs is played. White sheets of paper are laid out on the floor in a circle. Each child kneels in front of a sheet and paints a house on it. Suddenly the music stops. Each child moves one place to the right and continues painting on their neighbor's picture.

Group artwork: Lay a large white bed sheet or a large white sheet of paper on the floor. All children put on a painting smock and may then splatter, spray and paint to their heart's content or 'stamp' their handprints (don't forget the name) onto the sheet or paper. Maybe the group artwork can be displayed in the kindergarten or at school. Otherwise the work stays with the birthday child.

Colorful crepe paper flowers: You need: cardboard, glue, crepe paper in various colors, wooden sticks, green paper, scissors, a paper piercer, felt-tip pen. Here's how: Cut a flower shape out of the cardboard. Poke two holes in the flower shape. A wooden stick is pushed through these holes. Small crepe paper balls are rolled from the crepe paper and then glued onto the front and back of the flower shape. Once the flower shape has been glued front and back, the wooden stick is colored with a felt-tip pen. If you like, you can also cut leaves from green paper and glue them to the stem. Stick the flowers into the soil in the garden or place them in a vase with soil.

Blow paintings: Each child drips various drops of watercolor onto paper. They get a shortened drinking straw and blow the paint drops apart with it. This creates a beautiful picture with a bizarre pattern. The children invent fitting names for their pictures.
