Now speed is required, because the children run off and try to catch their balloon again and bring it back to the starting point. Who manages to do it first?
Frog hopping
How it works:
Mark a start and a finish line that are not too far apart. The children squat down like little frogs at the starting line. When the start signal is given, they hop in a race. Sack race
How it works:

All the children step into the sacks and line up at the starting line. When the starting shot is fired, they hop in a race. The finish line should be about 30 meters from the start. Whoever arrives first has won.
Scavenger hunt with treasure search
How it works:
The scavenger hunt is most fun with multiple players. As a kids' birthday party game the scavenger hunt is also a highlight. Divide the children into two groups, the 'hiders' and the 'seekers'. In the next round the groups can be swapped so that each child can hide once and search once.
The 'hiders' start and have fifteen minutes to hide a treasure. They must mark the path to it for the 'seekers' with arrows. Sidewalk chalk works for this or trails of twigs and stones can be laid. Of course false paths can also be added to make it not too easy for the 'seekers'. Now the 'seekers' may demonstrate their instincts and the fun treasure hunt begins.
Water balloon target toss
How it works:
This game is most fun when it's really warm outside. To do this, fill water balloons with water. That is your ammunition. Declare targets that must be hit. This can be a bucket, a mark on the house wall, or a tree. The children now try to hit the targets with the water balloons. That will be a wet pleasure. The child who scores the most points is the water balloon champion.

Tag & Hide-and-Seek
How it works:
This game is a combination of a hide-and-seek and tag game. A place is declared as the 'safe' area. This can be a tree or another place outdoors. One child is the seeker. They count slowly with closed eyes in the 'safe' area to ten, while the other players hide. Now the seeker must find the other children.
If a child is spotted, the seeker must run back to the 'safe' area as quickly as possible and loudly shout '1,2,3' + the name of the found child. The other child meanwhile tries to reach the 'safe' area before the seeker. If they make it, they must tag the 'safe' and shout '1,2,3, I'm safe'. If they are not in the 'safe' area before the seeker, the child is caught. The game ends when all children have been found.
Water bowling
How it works:
For this you need two plastic bottles filled with water, as well as a ball and chalk. At least four players are needed for the game. Divide the children into two teams that play against each other. Draw two lines with chalk that are about 5 meters apart. A team lines up at each line. Exactly in the middle place the opened water bottles, with each team owning a bottle. The children must now try to hit the opponent's bottle with a ball. How they do it does not matter; the ball may be rolled or thrown. It is important that the line is not crossed.
If a bottle is hit, the opposing team must react quickly and a child must fetch the ball. Only when they have the ball may they set the bottle up again. If the bottle is back up and there is still water in it, the game continues. The team whose bottle is empty first has lost.

Ox on the Mountain
One child stands as the 'ox' with their back to the group against a wall or a tree, while the other children start at some distance. The ox calls: 'One, two, three, four, Ox on the Mountain!' and then turns around very quickly. During the chant the children may approach the ox, but must freeze immediately as soon as the ox turns around. Anyone still moving then must go back to the start. The goal is to reach and touch the ox without being caught moving. Whoever succeeds becomes the ox in the next round.
Fisher, how deep is the water
One child takes on the role of the 'fisher' and stands on one side of a playing field or a clearly defined line. The other children stand on the opposite side.
The fisher shouts loudly: 'Fisher, how deep is the water?' and the others respond with a certain 'depth' (e.g. 'two steps', 'five steps' or 'very deep'). Depending on how deep the water is, the children must take that number of steps toward the fisher.
If the fisher says 'too deep' or suddenly shouts 'Fisher, the water is too deep!', the children must not move anymore. Whoever still moves then must return to the start. The goal is to reach the fisher and touch them without being caught. Whoever manages that becomes the fisher in the next round.
