If you and your child have been invited to a wedding together, your child will surely enjoy helping you craft the bride and groom gift. Some steps should be carried out by the parents, for example drilling or working with hot glue.
Crafting instructions:
1. First, two small holes are drilled into the wooden disc on the left and right, into which the rods are then attached.
2. Now the accessories are glued to the wooden disc with hot glue. You can, for example, use small flowers.
3. Don't forget a pretty gift ribbon!
4. Then the Little Friends – bride and groom are attached to the wooden disc with double-sided tape.
5. Now all that's missing is the string from the left rod to the right rod!
6. Finally, attach the banknotes to it! Then you and your parents will have a beautiful gift that any bride and groom will surely appreciate!
Variation: Wedding gift in a jar
Many couples appreciate lovingly crafted decorations that brighten their home. You can make a wedding gift in a jar with banknotes in just a few simple steps.
For our variation you will need:
A glass container of your choice, filled with some decorative sand
An LED string light
Coins and banknotes of your choice (you can fold these and attach them to a string)
Gift ribbon
1. Choose a jar in which your HABA Little Friends bride and groom fit well in the center.
2. Cover the bottom of the jar with some decorative sand and coins, for example 1- and 2-euro coins.
3. Place the Little Friends bride and groom in the center on the sand and make sure they stand firmly.
4. Wrap the LED string light around the bride and groom and turn it on. Looks nice, doesn't it?
5. Fold as many banknotes as you want into little boats and place them around the bride and groom.
6. Tie a colorful ribbon around the jar.
7. Your lovingly crafted wedding gift in a jar is ready!
