HABA Locations

In 1938 the Habermaass GmbH was founded as a “factory for fine wooden toys”. Today, toys don’t necessarily have to be made of wood, but they still have to be right for children! The HABA brand is sold worldwide in 50 different countries. Well over 10,000 specialty retailers across the globe recognize us as “children's inventors,” “Inventori per bambini”, “Opfinder for børn” or “Inventor para niños”. HABA products are regularly showcased at all major trade fairs around the world. Being a recognized global player is essential to HABA’s success.

HABA Germany

It all began in Bad Rodach  where our first wooden toys rolled off the production line. In fact, all our products are designed, produced and tested here. Every day, a team of designers and game editors put their minds together to create games and toys that meet the needs and interests of children. They tinker about, design, draw up, test and play until they’re thoroughly satisfied and a new HABA product is born.
You can buy your HABA toys and games at select specialty stores, online, and in JAKO-O family stores in Bochum and Hamburg, and in family outlet in Bad Rodach.

In 1980 we took over “Skaneateles Handicrafters” in New York state, USA. And we’ve operated in the US market ever since. As a distributor, HABA USA caters primarily to specialty retailers, mail order companies and preschool institutions, and also sells direct to consumers online at HABAUSA.com.

HABA France

We have had a subsidiary in France since 1993: HABA France distributes our products from Égly, to specialist retailers, daycares, preschools, leisure centers and other facilities.

Our subsidiary in Hong Kong has been the first point of contact for all our Asian customers since April 2011. The focus of our Asian subsidiary is on building up distribution channels for learning centers, specialty retailers and school suppliers. In the future, the entire Asian-Pacific market will be served from our Hong Kong location.
Our Asian subsidiary also has its own HABA purchasing department to ensure continued product safety and improved availability.
