Developed in the second half of the 20th century, the term data protection is playing an increasingly important role in times of digitalization. And since the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force, it has also arrived in the public discussion. This Regulation harmonizes the rules on the processing of personal data by private companies and public bodies throughout the EU. Data protection is not only a very wide-ranging issue, but also a very important one, which we at HABA take very seriously.

Data protection is a high priority throughout the HABA Family of Companies. The legality of all data processing operations is monitored on an ongoing basis, and data retention is documented. Our data protection management system describes all the processes necessary to meet the requirements and provides an overview of these. We attach particular importance to the protection of personal data and data entrusted to us.
