We teach children about the digital world! The HABA Digitalwerkstatt

Building their own robot, programming a game or making an animated film – all of this is child’s play here! With the courses, workshops and holiday camps at HABA Digitalwerkstatt locations all over Germany, children between 6 and 12 years old learn about new technologies and take the digital world by storm. The mission of the HABA Digitalwerkstatt? Teach children about the digital world!

What’s special about the HABA Digitalwerkstatt?

Karile Klug – CEO of the HABA Digitalwerkstatt:

“For me, a strong educational concept is what makes the HABA Digitalwerkstatt special. This is our vision and mission: In our digitalized world, equal opportunities for children should be improved through digital education. We are experts in the area of digital education and our offers allow children to experience being creative designers and problem solvers while learning how to work with a variety of new technologies. This encourages various future-oriented skills such as the ability to work in a team.”

What connects HABA and the HABA Digitalwerkstatt?

Dr. Jan-David Freund – Product Manager HABA Learning Program:

“HABA and the HABA Digitalwerkstatt cover different aspects of childhood development. But we share one mission: Supporting parents in offering their children educationally valuable offers that both focus on fun and also help prepare children for challenges they will face both now and in the future. While HABA offers analog games and toys, the HABA Digitalwerkstatt covers the increasingly important digital area. In this way it closes a gap and acts as a tour guide in the jungle of digital oversupply.
