Hello, I'm Marc!

Today I'm taking you along on a great journey on four wheels: With our new caravan we are driving to the seaside on vacation! Mom Ines and Dad Karsten are just as excited as my best friends Colin and Tina. I'm so happy that my parents allowed them to come along. By the way, my sister Nora and I love traveling. But Nora is still a baby and therefore hasn't seen many places yet. This is her first trip with the Little-Friends caravan.

The Little-Friends family is going on vacation with the travel trailer

In such a caravan you can fit everything that belongs in a house or an apartment: there is a kitchen, a bathroom, beds and plenty of space for everything you need on vacation. Super cozy! You just hitch the caravan to the car and drive off — wherever you want. Our destination is a campground right on the beach. There Dad Karsten immediately rolls out the awning and sets up the deckchairs. Now the holiday can begin!

Baby Nora digs and plays

It was a long drive to the campsite. Nora could hardly wait until we finally arrived. At the beach her little eyes light up with excitement. There are so many great things you can do with sand! Whether filling the bucket right up until it overflows and tips over, or leaving funny swirl tracks with the wagon's wheels … it's great fun!

Tina is relaxed on the beach

Tina wants to head straight to the beach too. Phew, it's so warm here! She grabs one of our sunny yellow deckchairs. In this heat she only wants to relax for a while. She always has her blue beach bag with her. From it she's already taken out her soft favourite beach towel. That way she can get comfortable on the sand — and her new orange polka-dot skirt, which she bought especially for our holiday, stays clean.

Colin is a real water baby

Colin doesn't like to rest; he'd much rather be on the go all the time. Above all, he loves the waves. You can ride them so wonderfully! He's had his Seepferdchen badge in his bag for ages. And since his holiday in the last summer holidays he has handled the surfboard like no one else in our class. Of course he has his board with him this time too. Wow, I would love to be able to keep my balance on the water like him!

Marc and his speedy wheels

Colin and I both enjoy sports that are fast and full of action. But I prefer wheels and solid ground. Dad Karsten told me there are great ramps here at the campsite. No question, my skateboard simply had to come along! I remember when I landed my first jump without falling. Mum Ines was really proud. She insists, however, that I always wear my helmet. It goes perfectly with the red wheels! So I practise cool new jumps all afternoon.

The Little Friends meet a dog mum and her puppies

Dog Leika watches over the campsite. She has two very cute puppies. The two little rascals love it when someone throws their Frisbees and they can dash after them nimbly. But you mustn't overdo the exercise! Because they're still so small, they need to rest regularly. For that they have their orange dog basket, which both of them can fit into at the same time. Then they always snuggle into their blue fluffy blanket and have an afternoon nap on the beach.

Sleeping in a tent and around the campfire

Unlike the puppies, we children didn't have a sleep in the afternoon. That just means we're even more tired now in the evening! In our new Little-Friends caravan there are beds too, but camping definitely includes sleeping under the open sky, don't you think? That's why we also brought a yellow tent. In front of it Dad Karsten has lit a warming campfire. Now we can get cosy in our sleeping bags. The rest of us will join them in a moment. These are really great holidays!

And so a day at the beach comes to an end … until next time!
