Children need digital skills
Debates about digital media and children have been going on for years. Since the 1990s, mobile phones and the internet have steadily become more important. While at first there was still mistrust toward mobile phones, today they are a completely natural part of everyday life for the vast majority of people. And children should also learn to handle digital media early. Because they also become part of everyday learning in kindergarten, school and later training.
The challenges surrounding the internet
The internet is available around the clock and even overwhelms many an adult with the flood of information available there. Your children learn bit by bit to deal with the internet. You support them in this. It is important that clear rules apply and that you also inform your children about the dangers on the internet. Playing, learning & fostering – if you use it correctly, the internet offers you many advantages and gives you valuable inspiration for raising your children.
A responsible use of all media by your children is an important issue – inform yourselves about it regularly in the HABA Online Magazine!
