Hammock and children's swing

A hammock is strung between the two large trees. Lying in it is really cosy! You can swing back and forth, rest a little after running around and climbing, or read a book. The swing that hangs under our treehouse is great too! I always try to swing really high and push off hard with my legs. It’s a bit easier when an adult or one of my friends gives me a little push. Then I feel like my feet almost reach the clouds!

Loads of fun on the children's playground

Lots of us Little Friends go to the playground when the weather is nice. There’s a big sandpit with plenty of room for us children. I absolutely love digging and I especially enjoy building sandcastles. Yesterday I built a very big castle with lots of towers and walls with Matze and Felicitas. That was fun! Lilli and I then went on the seesaw and we took turns pushing each other up and down. While doing that we recited silly rhymes. The little babies Max and Marie also like coming to the playground with their mum or dad; they dig in the sand or get a push on the child's swing.

The hardworking gardeners of the Little Friends

Matze and I enjoy helping out in the garden of Villa Frühlingsmorgen. A lovely garden needs to be looked after so you can grow fruit and vegetables. Matze always likes helping most when it’s time to harvest. In Lilli’s dad Michael’s small greenhouse lots of lettuce is growing and we also pulled some small, crunchy carrots out of the ground. We gave one a quick wash and then bit into a carrot straight away. It tasted so much better than the vegetables from the supermarket!

Michael also showed us how to turn the soil and prepare it for new plants. Digging was tiring, but straight afterwards we relaxed on the lovely terrace with a cold lemonade and admired the beautiful garden!
