Lilli moved a few days ago. She now lives in another town because her dad has a new job there. Everyone calls the family's new house Villa Sonnenschein, because it has lots of big windows that let the sunshine in. Lilli now has a room in the attic and her own patch in the garden. That helped her settle in quickly.
Imke helps out, so she looks after Lilli on her first day at kindergarten. Like Lilli, she loves rabbits. For her fifth birthday a few weeks ago she was given two rabbits: Muckel is black-and-white and Stupsi is completely white. The rabbits have a hutch and an enclosure in the garden. Imke also enjoys dancing and goes to ballet school.
Mali is Imke's best friend. They go to ballet school together and always practise hard when they are allowed to play together after kindergarten. Mali also has two older sisters who already go to school. Most of the time it's great that she always has someone to play with at home. But sometimes the two older ones can be quite tiring. Then Mali draws and does crafts in her room.
Elise loves playing outside. Around her house on the edge of town there is a huge garden with many fruit trees. Elise has a treehouse in the apple tree. Her dad built it. He is a forester and sometimes takes her and her little brother into the woods when he is out there with Lucky the dog.
Die Lieblingstiere von Milla are unicorns, horses and donkeys. Unfortunately she hasn't seen a real unicorn yet, which she finds a shame. But luckily her aunt has a horse that shares a stable and a big paddock with a donkey. Milla thinks that's great, because she can already start learning to ride. Fortunately the mare Pippa is very calm, and when her aunt leads her by the reins, Milla feels safe on the warm horse's back.
Matze particularly likes three things: dinos, football and the police. His uncle, Felicitas's dad, works as a police officer. Felicitas is a year younger than him, but Matze thinks it's great that his cousin joins in with everything he suggests. When he grows up, he wants to be either a dinosaur researcher or a police officer.
Felicitas is quite a lively girl. She is Matze's cousin and thinks her older cousin is great. The two often play dinosaur researcher, police or football together. But because Matze already trains with a club, he is of course better than her. That sometimes annoys her. But soon she will be allowed to join football training too, and she is really looking forward to that.
