Our environmental management system

Our environmental management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. We analyze environmental impacts, their effects and identify potential improvements, which we implement step by step. It is important to us, to work sustainably in all work steps. And we have resolved to become much better. By repeatedly providing targeted training to our employees and further promoting environmental awareness. In all products we place greatest emphasis on quality, durability, optimal function and form. We also make sure that our partners operate according to high environmental standards. In addition, when shipping our items we pay attention to as environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging material as possible environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging material – and use only as much of it as is really necessary.

Our quality management system

Our quality management system is certified according to the Quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. This quality management standard is nationally and internationally recognized and widely used. It is the basis for our continuous improvement process within the company and is a proven tool, to optimize processes. The certification confirms that we continuously processes and services, as well as the quality of our products to the satisfaction of our customers.

Our energy management system

Due to its own production, the HABA FAMILYGROUP naturally also has a higher energy demand, which is largely covered by renewable energies. We are also certified in this area according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. The HABA FAMILYGROUP has set itself the goal, to continuously improve energy-related performance, such as the increasing energy efficiency and optimizing energy use. This is implemented, among other things, by an energy team that deals with the legal requirements as well as all potential improvements. In addition to LED lighting in many areas and the PV systems located on various hall roofs, the HABA FAMILYGROUP also uses, for example, the 'by-product' wood shavings from its wood manufacturing for energy recovery to heat the premises. Responsible handling of energy is also an essential part of our actions in the context of building technology and the expansion of office and production space – this applies to all HABA FAMILYGROUP locations.
