A special collaboration: HABA x Carmushka
Carmushka is not only a well-known content creator, but also a mom — and therefore especially close to the issues that really matter to families. Her books are a real labor of love, inspired by the desire to give children emotional strength and imagination. These values align with our approach at HABA: Shaping childhood as a valuable time in which play and learning go hand in hand.
The collaboration arose from a shared vision — and from the desire to accompany children on their journey. With great sensitivity, creative energy and a deep understanding of children's needs, we developed a product together that makes stories tangible and touches children's hearts.
Discover Tilli and her button universe
The enchanting world of “My Button, a Universe” revolves around the curious and warm-hearted Tilli. Together with her friends Isaiah, Otti, and Jola, she experiences adventures full of imagination, courage, and big wishes. When the four discover a special red button in the forest, a journey into a universe of possibilities begins. For this magical wish button can send wishes into the universe — provided they are formulated consciously.
The stories by Carmen Kroll, known to many as Carmushka, combine childlike imagination with topics that play an important role in everyday life. Friendship, self-confidence, emotions and courage are addressed in a loving and child-friendly way. It becomes clear: wishes don't always have to come true exactly as imagined — but they can be the beginning of a very special adventure. The world of "My Button, a Universe" stands for:
imaginative stories about the red wish button
the friendship of Tilli, Isaiah, Otti and Jola
impulses for courage, feelings and personal wishes
lovely illustrations by Marielle Rusche
adventures that encourage children to empathize and share
Tilli is a character with whom children can empathize, laugh and invent their own stories. Thus a small button becomes the starting point for a very big universe.
From the children's book directly into the children's room
With the Tilli doll moves the main character from the book directly into the children's room. The cuddly soft cloth doll is lovingly modeled after Tilli from "My Button, a Universe" and accompanies children through big and small everyday adventures. During read-aloud time she is right there, afterwards the pages of the book turn into imaginative play ideas. The cloth doll creates an emotional bridge between (read-aloud) and free play. Familiar experiences from the stories can be reenacted, while at the same time there is room for one's own wish-stories. The HABA doll Tilli thus becomes a cuddly friend, role-play figure and loving companion in one. Tilli's accessories include a small backpack and the magic button. The backpack is delivered empty and offers space for personal treasures, such as the wish button, marbles, little stones or small found objects. This expands the play possibilities and makes the doll a trusted companion on the go.
