Children need digital skills
Debates about digital media and children have been going on for years. Since the 1990s, mobile phones and the Internet have steadily become more important. While there was mistrust toward mobile phones at the beginning, they are now a natural part of everyday life for most people. And children should also learn to use digital media early. Because these also become part of everyday learning in kindergarten, school and later vocational training.
The challenges surrounding the Internet
The Internet is available around the clock and even overwhelms some adults with the flood of information available there. Your children learn step by step how to use the Internet. You support them in this. It is important that clear rules apply and that you also inform your children about the dangers on the Internet. Playing, learning & supporting – if you use it correctly, the Internet offers you many advantages and gives you valuable guidance in raising your children.
A responsible approach to your children's use of all media is an important issue – keep yourselves regularly informed about it in the HABA Online Magazine!
