Rain games in April

Puddle waltz: Stand in a circle around a puddle and hold hands. Now start singing and dance around the puddle. Everyone must, by pressing and pushing, force the others to step into the puddle. Whoever ends up doing so must drop out. Your circle gets smaller and smaller, but whoever stays dry at the end is the winner.

Rain catcher: Everyone is given a cup. On command everyone dashes through the rain, holds their cups up and catches as much rainwater as possible. When the final whistle blows after a few minutes, everyone runs to the dry and the cups are measured to see who caught the most.

Extinguish lights: The game only works if it has already stopped raining. Find a nice big puddle and let jar lids float in it, in which you have placed lit tealights. Now use water squirters to try to extinguish the lights. But don't forget: after playing you must tidy up the puddle and its surroundings properly.

Cook puddle soup: Stand around a puddle and together blow strongly into it with a length of hose until the water starts to bubble and fizz.
