Birthday in February - Dressing Up, Playing, Mischief!

Carnival time: Time for a Costume party! Children love dressing up and slipping into other roles – cowboy, Princess, ladybug, astronaut, … Surely every child has a favorite costume that they like to wear to the costume birthday party to wear. At the end of the party the nicest costume is crowned and rewarded with a small gift.

Or you celebrate a theme party, where everything matches the theme (e.g. Pirates, unicorns, soccer or horses) is coordinated: The Invitations,party favors,food,decoration and of course the costumes of the party guests. That will be great fun!

Themed party time!

Invitation to everyone Princesses, Cowboys, Elves, Harry Potters ... to the big theme party! Send your friends a funny invitation card and ask them to bring a treat for the cold buffet. Also write on the invitation that they should dress up really well, because at the end of the party the best costume will be awarded.

Before the party starts, the birthday preparations begin. When the colorful decorations of streamers, balloons and crepe paper are hung, a table for the cold buffet is set up and cheerfully decorated.

When the guests arrive, they are warmly welcomed and shortly afterward can play together. In all games, less emphasis should be placed on personal ambition and victory and more on the group experience and shared enjoyment.

Small gifts: It has become customary at birthdays to distribute prizes and rewards for games and competitions. A small bag is prepared for each child. It is labeled with a name. During the birthday party all winnings, prizes and sweets can be quickly put away. The prizes should only be small items that cost little or nothing, perhaps items collected during the year.

Refreshments: The food should not take center stage. Nevertheless, the rule applies: playing makes you hungry. The birthday child's favorite dish should be considered if possible. For many birthday children and their guests it will be appealing to creatively plan the menu together.
