Celebrate away from home!
Where shall we celebrate? Celebrating away from home is usually a bit more expensive, but it spares the adults' nerves. Once you've decided to celebrate away from home, you only have to choose a provider. That is sometimes not so easy, because the range of offerings is very extensive.
Get out of your own four walls: There are museum-education programs, climbing events in high-rope parks, pool parties in adventure pools, indoor or outdoor pools, special cinema visits, or other great indoor and outdoor activities. Many providers offer special birthday packages, with the birthday child of course getting free admission or some other benefit.
Little preparation, work and hassle … Once you've decided on a location, you should book as early as possible so you can send the invitations in time. You should also organize drop-off and pick-up. Parents who are friends will surely help with that.
Advantages: The children have an unforgettable afternoon, mom doesn't have too much stress and dad is pleased his stereo system is still working. However, you shouldn't book events that are too big too early, or there will eventually be nothing left to top them!
