Land in sight for birthday planning
Toiling for the children's birthday? That's over now. The HABA checklist for a successful themed party and the printable invitation template are valuable helpers. In the checklist parents will find tips and tricks, which schedule and planning run smoothly, while the template helps if creative inspiration is slow to come. In case of doubt the little ones will surely help too: birthday children often excitedly count the days until the big celebration weeks in advance and enjoy being involved in planning and design. Together makes decorating and baking a breeze; it also boosts farm enthusiasm for everyone involved.
As base color for the decoration a vibrant green, like the farm meadow's, is suitable, and as a classic decoration, colourful balloons of course shouldn't be missing.

The party gets rolling
The first guests may already take a seat in the Tractor play tent. With its huge wheels and the swiveling steering wheel it invites everyone to take a spin 'out in the field'. In no time the children are absorbed in role play around country life. Afterwards the presents are unwrapped and the various costumes are celebrated. Once it's clear who is farmer, cow or chick, the fun can begin: In nice weather it's best to go outside into the garden or onto a big meadow.
In the fresh air there is enough space for a round of 'blind man's buff', guessing plants or a spectacular wheelbarrow race. Sack racing also ensures an exuberant atmosphere as a children's birthday game. Alternatively, small farm animals from the HABA Little Friends series can be hidden. The trick: whoever finds Hoppel the rabbit, piglet, hen, rooster, goose or duck and makes the correct animal sound may take the play figure as a party favor home. Then only the classic 'chair polonaise' is missing and the farm animals turn into funny dancing party animals!
Hearty snacks for farm fans
After so much fun everyone is absolutely ravenous and thirsty. Great that the funny bowls of the HABA Tractor tableware series are already filled – matching the farm theme, for example with colourful veggie sticks made from tasty cucumbers, bell peppers and carrots. And alongside that there could be creamy baked cheese for dipping, chicken nuggets and crispy fries. Drinks are served from the Tractor cups.
