Crafts: Little Artists at Work

Do you want to offer the birthday party something special that doesn't mean too much effort for you as parents? Hand-knotted Dreamcatchers, shape and dye moldable soaps yourself, T-shirts to paint and customize, braid friendship bracelets or keychains and add letter beads into a personal keepsake for each guest... Decor: All in one

If you place the purchased craft materials nicely on the tables, for example in mason jars or small baskets, you have decor you can touch: brushes, markers, glitter gems, craft kits, feathers, ribbons, beads, paper, child-safe scissors, watercolors, finger paints, and so on. Sustainable decor that invites participation. Attach visual party highlights to the walls or from the ceiling with small feather sprigs, colorful ribbons, small branches, wrapped with string lights wrapped, glowing lanterns, balloons and streamers.

Tip: If your child has a favorite character, you can of course orient the creative party accordingly and provide craft templates that reflect the theme.

Games: Marshmallow Tower

With this game everyone has fun together. Depending on the number of children, divide them into groups. All each group needs are 20 spaghetti sticks, 1 marshmallow and 1 m of crepe tape. The task: The first group to build a tower from the available "ingredients" that holds the marshmallow on top wins. Expect delighted squeals, and the game also promotes group dynamics, cooperation and dexterity.

Tip: As a prize, tie small sweet-filled bags that have a wooden name tag attached for each child.

Food: Colors à la carte

Have you ever tried making a rainbow cake? Add colorful food coloring to the batters for the individual layers, bake and layer them in rainbow order. Cover the cake with a light icing or fondant and use a brush and food coloring to splatter color as decoration over the cake. An absolute wow moment when slicing. For the healthy component provide vegetable sticks, tomato-mozzarella skewers and homemade ice pops – mix juice with water, add colorful fruits and freeze in a popsicle mold.
