How about, for example …
Pizza muffins,
Chili con carne,
various salads,
herb baguette,
ham and cheese rolls,
mini burgers,
party bread,
grilled treats,
make-your-own wraps,
or stuffed baked potatoes?
Of course desserts should not be missing from the buffet either. Besides the classics—cake and sweets—Nachos with various dips, donuts, cookies, popcorn, or a vegetable platter with dips are sure to be popular with the kids. Refreshing lemonades and homemade iced tea are just the right party drinks. Delicious non-alcoholic cocktails or milkshakes and smoothies are also part of it. The selection of food and drinks for a children's party is large; ask your child what he/she would like to eat and drink at the party and let a cookbook inspire you. Your child will surely be happy to help with the preparations.
Remember to provide something for vegetarians as well! And ask—preferably as part of the invitation—before the party whether a guest has an allergy or food intolerance.
Extra tip:
Tasty for the kids' party:
Make-your-own pizza
Much more fun than ordering pizza is baking pizza yourself: For this, place the dough (store-bought or homemade) on the tray, mark pieces of any size with a knife, spread with tomato sauce and put out toppings to assemble yourself: salami, ham, mushrooms, tomato slices, bell pepper pieces, onion rings, cheese, etc. Then just remember which piece belongs to whom, bake and enjoy the homemade pizza.
