Out into the open: Playing in the treehouse and in the Little Friends' garden

I want to show you my absolute favorite spot today:
Our beautiful treehouse, the Little Friends'! High up in the sturdiest branches of the trees a great platform has been built where you can play to your heart's content.
It's most fun when my friend Lilli and I can play together in the treehouse. You climb up to the treehouse using a rope ladder. That's not so easy, but we help each other climb. Up in our treehouse we're completely undisturbed and can watch the birds and little squirrels and simply play in peace. But the fantastic treehouse has even more to offer!
Hammock and children's swing
A hammock is strung between the two big trees. Lying in it is really cozy! You can swing back and forth, rest a little after roughhousing and climbing, or look at a book. The swing that hangs under our treehouse is great too! I always try to swing really high and push off with my legs hard. It's a bit easier when an adult or one of my friends gives me a little push. Then I feel like my feet almost reach the clouds!
Lots of fun at the children's playground
Many of us Little Friends are at the playground in good weather. There is a large sandbox there with enough room for us children. I absolutely love digging and I especially think building sandcastles is great. Yesterday I built a very big castle with many towers and walls with Matze and Felicitas. That was fun! Then Lilli and I went on the seesaw and we pushed each other up and down. While doing that we recited funny rhymes. The little babies Max and Marie also like to come to the playground with their mom or dad and dig in the sand or be pushed on the children's swing.
The hardworking gardeners of the Little Friends
Matze and I like to help out in the garden of Villa Frühlingsmorgen. A beautiful garden needs to be tended, because then you can also grow fruit and vegetables. Matze always prefers to help when it's time to harvest. In Lilli's dad Michael's small greenhouse a lot of lettuce grows and we also pulled little, crunchy carrots out of the ground. After a quick wash we immediately nibbled on a carrot. It tasted much better than the vegetables from the supermarket!
Michael also showed us how to turn over the soil and prepare it for new plants. The digging was tiring but right afterwards we rested on the beautiful terrace with a cold lemonade and admired the lovely garden!
