Right at the start of product development our designers give careful thought to the appearance and play features a product must have so that it brings children lasting enjoyment.
And because with games in particular the absence of one part of the play materials can mean the whole game can no longer be used, several years ago we set up an extensive spare parts service .
Responsibility at HABA — given top priority in daily practice
This clear commitment requires that we take responsibility for our corporate actions — and we do so in the areas of ecology, economy and social affairs. Responsibility is for HABA and the Habermaass family of companies more than a word. It is reflected in everything we do — and has been for more than 85 years. The small family business of back then has grown into a modern, internationally active family company. Headquartered in Bad Rodach, the family of companies brings the brands HABA and WEHRFRITZ together under one roof. Much has changed over the past decades, but a sense of tradition and responsibility has remained. HABA has been accompanying children on their way into and through life for more than 85 years — with games and toys that challenge, promote and above all bring great joy. For children and their families we develop and produce high-quality products — taking environmental and energy aspects into account in our corporate and production processes. We achieve this on the one hand through efficient processes and production methods and on the other through motivated employees, in whose thinking and actions the idea of quality is also firmly anchored. In particular, responsible handling of the environment and resources, the long-term securing of jobs and careful data protection are very important to us. That is our understanding of social responsibility, which we are happy to assume.

Family-friendliness:
Children and their families are at the center of HABA's corporate philosophy and the entire Habermaass company family. Therefore, it is particularly important to us to support our employees in balancing family and work.
Data protection:
In the Habermaass corporate family, data protection is of high importance: there is continuous monitoring of the lawfulness of all data processing operations and documentation of data storage. More on this topic is described in detail in our data protection policy.
Safety:
Our products comply, in materials and workmanship, with all European and national regulations for the safety of toys and meet US standards.
Environmental and Energy Management:
Our environmental management system is certified according to the standard ISO 14001:2015. We continuously analyze the influences and impacts our company has on the environment and identify areas for improvement that we implement step by step. In addition, we have an energy management system that is certified according to the standard ISO 50001:2018 certified. With this, we aim to increase the energy efficiency of the Habermaass company family and optimize self-consumption of energy.

Quality management:
We comply with the nationally and internationally recognized quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, which forms the basis for the internal continuous improvement process. This enables us to continuously improve the quality of our products and services for the benefit of our customers.
