Our environmental management system
Our environmental management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. We analyze environmental impacts, their effects and identify potential improvements, which we implement step by step. It is important to us, to work sustainably in all work steps. And we have set ourselves the goal of becoming much better. By repeatedly providing targeted training for our employees and further promoting environmental awareness. With all products, we place the greatest importance on quality, durability, optimal function and form. We also ensure that our partners adhere to high environmental standards. In addition, when shipping our items we pay attention to using as much environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging material – and use only as much of it as is really necessary.
Our quality management system
Our quality management system is certified according to the Quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. This quality management standard is nationally and internationally recognized and widespread. It is the basis for our continuous improvement process within the company and is a proven tool, to optimize processes.The certification confirms that we continuously improve our processes and services, as well as the quality of our products to the satisfaction of our customers.
Our energy management system
The HABA FAMILYGROUP naturally has a higher energy demand due to its own production, which is largely covered by renewable energies. We are also certified in this area according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. HABA FAMILYGROUP has set itself the goal of continuously improving energy-related performance, such as increasing energy efficiency and optimizing energy use. This is, among other things, implemented by an energy team that deals with the legal requirements as well as all potential improvements. In addition to LED lighting in many areas and the PV systems located on various hall roofs, HABA FAMILYGROUP also uses, for example, the 'waste product' wood shavings from wood production for energy recovery to heat the premises. Responsible use of energy is also an essential part of our actions in the context of building services and the expansion of office and production space - this applies to all HABA FAMILYGROUP locations.
